37 year old mom of 2 boys. Growing up, I enjoyed being active in sports – tennis, swimming, track & field, netball, windsurfing, scuba diving, sailing, touch rugby; anything that required moving sounded like fun!
But for the last 12 years, I focused mostly on Strength & Conditioning training.
Like many Singaporeans, I love food! However, I never had those “good genes,” slim figures, and flat tummies like other friends I grew up with. I was always on the chubbier side. I also never “bounced back to shape” post-partum.
Society probably didn’t influence our focus very much on physical wellbeing, and naturally, I took to Google and YouTube to try to learn more. With that, I had a ton of misconceptions.
I’ve tried different types of diets, food groups, HIIT classes, cardio classes, etc. But what really works?
I look forward to helping fellow women, mothers, and non-mothers, get educated and build a healthier, stronger body for themselves. It’s imperative for us to take care of our physical wellbeing and to know how to sustain our bodies as we get older.
